Help Identify Something Odd In My Tank

I dont think any of the fish in my stock are egg sack layers, i believe they are all egg layers. I first thought this was just stray food leftover in my Java moss, that was a few days ago.

Today upon closer inspection this looks like it may be something living. Now mind you this could indeed just be food leftover and i am just being nuts but before i took it out i thought i would run some photos by the experts here at AA.

What the heck is this, and if its a egg sack wth could it be from?

sorry cant really tell by the pics, but i know food can look pretty similar when left in a plant bunch like that

I think we just found where jimmy hoffa was buried LOL

It could be a cluster of snail eggs that fell into the tank. Other than that, it is really hard to tell.
