Help Identifying Cichlids

Just keep a close eye on them. They look lovely and healthy right now!!!


40 gallon planted aquarium
1x leopard ctenopoma
1x albino bichir
1x tiger pleco


75 gallon native tank
5 pumpkin seed sunfish
1 red crayfish
1 spotted bass

That clerk obviously has no clue and no right to be recommending cichlids. If you're happy then by all means try and keep them but I would seriously tell off the manager about the employee that said these would work.

You also have a Planted tank, not all these fish are plant friendly.

It's a mish mash of fish for sure.

Your Shark will need a 55g as he grows also.

The firemouth and convicts are ok with plants but they can dig so you will have to watch that. I have my plant attached to driftwood.
