HELP. Kole Tang is getting sick.

I think my kole yellow eye tang is getting sick. He can't close his mouth like other fish, and so he can't eat any food. Is this a mouth fungus? What should i treat him with? TIA

A pic will be helpful. Kole tangs have rather large downward pointed mouths specialized for algae grazing. Tangs typically cannot completely close their mouths. What might look odd could actually be normal.

Is it gaping or just slightly open all the time?

He is swimming normal, not gasping for air. Just looks weird that his mouth remains open all the time. I bought him four days ago, and his mouth wasn't like this. I'll post a pic asap.

Steve is right their mouths stay open most of the times. They pick algea off the live rock and glass. I think you are OK
