Help with pico

I am thinking of starting a pico I already have the plan down and I'm just starting off with a 5.5 rectangle aquarium I was wondering if it would need a sump and I can't find a reasonably priced light or even just a light that i can use any suggestions

No you don't need a sump. I would just run a hob filter and a small power head and heater. A par30 (softies or lps) or par38 (sps) would work great for this tank
