Within 10 minutes they were already chasing each other trying to conquer space. Not crazy violent but man the stories of these things is true. 2 in my 5 gallon and we broke and grabbed a dwarf frog. I know I know

OMG!
Noticed my water looked awkward so I took levels. Somehow I went from perfect 0,0,5-10 to .25ppm on ammonia and nitrite and 0 nitrates!
I know two little Puff's overnight didnt do this.
What happened?!!?
I did like a 75% water change cleaned my driftwood and some of those bigger stones. Used some safe start and treated water (prime and treatments) and am hoping for the best.
Any tips. I'm gonna keep up some water changes and some extra safe starts.
