Well I got my swordtail fry into their 10 gallon tank, one got sucked up into the filter but the design of the filter kept him from going into the impeller and I was able to dump him back in the tank. Put some netting around the pre-filter with a rubber band but now the filter spits out O2 ever once and a while. Oh well not like its planted or anything. They are getting bigger for sure.
I looked over and sure enough, the mother is growing another gravid spot already! I honestly thought it would be a few more weeks.
My Oto is getting bigger too, she hasn't layed yet but shes almost perfectly round, like a dime with a tail. She has to lay soon. The question is, should I isolate her or try and catch the eggs after she lays them?
