Is it possible to house 1 male and 3 female bettas together? I have a 29 gallon tank (long), lots of plants (some silk others real) quite a few hiding spots, it's a community tank (2 African dwarf frogs, 1 pleco, 7 neon tetras, 1 male betta). I've read from other sources that it is possible. Any suggestions or precautions?

My suggestion is not to do it. 29 gallons is way too small to even attempt that IMO. Bettas are relentless and I have seen what happens in breeding and in keeping multiple females together. They are relentless to their own kind.
