Not fish, i am talking about shrimp. So far i have 3 peppermints and 3 camel. I wanted a skunk cleaner, maybe 2 of them. Would that be too many shrimp in a 55 gallon?

If not, would adding a fire shimp later on be way too much?;) Lol

As long as they each set up their own area you should be ok. I guess it depends on how much LR you have. 7-9 shrimp in a 55 does sound a bit crowded IMO.

What else is in the tank?

I have a fire shrimp and 3 peppermint shrimp in a 125 and sometimes think it`s too crowded by the way they act. On a 55 I would be hesitant.

yeah, mine get along pretty well, the camel shrimps don't move around as much at the peppers. But i might get a skunk Cleaner and stop it there. I wanted a fire, but i heard they are moody with other shrimps.

By the, what is the life expectancy of shrimps??? Anyone have an idea?
