How much live rock

Is 35lbs of live rock enough for a 70 gallon saltwater tank

I;d say at a minimum double it. Will this be a reef tank or fish only?

I'd still say like 70lbs or so, general rule of thumb is 1 to 1.5 lbs a gallon. The rock is your primary filtration and thus you need enough of it.

If you were going reef i would say even more than 70lbs.

If you already got 35 pounds of true cured live rock you can get about 35 more pounds of dry rock to save yourself some money. But you will need more rock for a 70 gallon tank. Best to find dry rock online as most local stores don't carry it in my area.
