I need a new hood

for my 10 gal. I think the internal filter splashed too much water on the one I have and shorted it out. :/ I took the internal filter out and put my old HOB filter on.

So, I need a good 10 gal hood reccomendation. This is a standard 10 gal tank. I am wanting something that I can use the lights needed to grow plants as I want to give that a shot.

Any suggestions? I can't afford very much right now. My poor fishies are swimming around in the dark.

How much can you afford to spend?
For my ten gallon tank I use a glass top (under $10) and a strip light (the strip light sits on top of the glass). The strip light costs about $30 but it is a fluorescent bulb that works great for growing plants.
How's the tank cycling going with those Balloon Molly's?
