Filter Media Suggestions?
I have an Innovative Marine Nuvo 16 gallon tank that has been up and running for a couple of months. Really hate the stock media baskets so I have ordered two by InTank to replace them. Does anyone have any suggestions on filter media for the new baskets? Right now it has a sponge, carbon and phosphate removal pad (I think that's what the green media is). I don't love that combo. I added a used sponge with purigen and bio max balls from a Fluval spec when I first set-up the tank and I plan on keeping that in the tank also. Right now the tank only has one adult molly and about 10 of her babies and some mystery snails. I plan on reducing the number of mollies by giving babies away, and then adding other compatible fish to the tank. Any suggestions on that? Thanks!
