interesting female guppy behavior

A recent study shows that when female guppies are being harrased by un wanted attention,(other male guppies) they other breed with more attractive specimans. The scientists saw that when the females hung out with specimans more attracive that the other male specimans the females were left alone! :fish2::fish1:
 
Interesting. I didn't know the females could get away by hanging out with the more attractive guppies. I do know males tend to only bother the fattest (most fertile looking) females. Do you have a link to the study you are talking about?
