It's a 55 gallon tank. 4 high output 39watt t5's ( 2 actinic, 2 daylight). I try to keep the parameters like so: ph8.2-8.4, calcium is about 440-460, ammonia, nitrate, nitrite all typical at 0ppm. Medium flow. I have two power heads on opposite sides of the tank pointing up, they are on a cycle every half hour, with a couple hour break at night when they stop. Salinity around 1.023 never higher than 1.025. The only change in lighting was a change of a daylight lamp to an actinic. So I had three day lights in when I first got him then made this change about two weeks later. I do about a 10 gallon water change every two weeks.
Let me know if there was anything I left out that might help save this little guy.
I think I would have a hard time fragging off a piece if the bleaching continues bc he is already so small.
