I Was wondering if the coralife aqua light dual t5 fixture and lamp is a good lighting system for medium light plants in a 25 gallon aquarium.

We need more details such as the color temp of the bulbs, the height of your tank, and the wattage of the bulbs.

48 watts total, tank height:19 inches, color temp unknown

Sounds like a good light. You would indeed get medium-high light with it.

I used to have that exact light. I think the bulbs were each 12w. One was a 6,700k bulb, and the other was a pink "colormax" bulb, which is absolutely worthless. I would just get a better light strip for that tank.

could the led one grow my anubias java fern and amazon swords.

Maybe. My experience with LEDs is that they can keep plants alive, but not really grow.

DO you think the led's will be better than the 15 watt t8 i have on my 10 gallon.

I don't think so, but it depends on the wattage of the LEDs and the color temp.
