Is this a Zoanthid?

I am a beginner to saltwater and picked this live rock with this hitchhicker.
I think its a zoanthid but not sure, if it is I only have a 50/50 full spectrum 6,000k t12 single tube basic lighting system, is this enough to keep it alive?

Hey Ted,
Those are Button polyps, similar to Zoanthids , but a little different.
Unfortunately I don't think a single T12 bulb will be enough light. They are a soft coral and don't require much light, but T12's are some of the weakest out there.
Try putting it as high in the water column as you can and see how they do. They usually have some green in the middle, so these are already a little light-starved, IMO.
If you plan on some corals, then you will definitely need stronger lighting.
