Is this aquarium safe? It says it puts off ammonia while curing and contains hexamethyldisilazane and methyltrimethoxysilane? Not sure it says 100 percent silicone?

If it has any ingredients that help resist mildew, then no, it is not safe.

Read the small print and see if it says safe for aquariums. If not, don't buy it.

It is different than Silicone I. Silicone II is an ammonia cure, while I is an acetic acid cure. The Silicone I for windows and doors contains no mildewcide and is aquarium safe, even though it says not recommended for aquariums on it.

Thanks! I went out and picked up silicone 1 :)
