Is this coral bleach or hiding?

Please help nitrate and phosphates are good I just don't know what to do.

It is receding, which isn't a good thing. Sadly, both this guy...who's name is escaping me it starts with an a...and flowerpots don't do well in our systems. They typically do this over a long period of time until they are gone. It has been theorized that they like a 'dirtier' water, but I have not seen any proof towards this regarding them being more successful when provided such an opportunity to feed.

I'm not saying that, I'm saying that it is one of the theories with these things. Plain and simple they don't last long for even the most experienced reef keeper.
If you have algae, there are nitrates and phosphates in the water you just can't detect them. You need a real good test kit for phosphates. My hanna checker keeps great track of mine, last clocking in at .05.
