Is this stocking OK???

Finally got my 20 gallon step up and cycled. I think I've decided what I'm going to put in it. Does this sound ok?

8 Cardinal Tetras
4 Platies
1 Dwarf Gourami
1 Blue Ram

i think you could add a 2nd ram (1 m and 1 f) as well as a couple (3-4) small catfish (like corys)

I tend to gravitate toward a less heavily stocked tank, so I think your initial suggestion is more along the lines of what I would do. However, if you wanted to add some cories, you could consider cutting down your platies from 4 to 2.

I guess it all depends on what kind of filtration you have and how often you want to do water changes.

yes my suggestions would put you a little on the heavy side, but i think you will be ok

i agree you could add a little more - but i would go with either another ram or a bottom feeder, maybe an oto?
