Hello everyone,

Ive been lurking the forums for a bit now and have decided to join up today.

I would still consider myself new to the hobby (1+ year in fresh water, 2 months in salt water). I'm actually in the process of trading my freshwater set up for credit at my LFS to focus on my reef aquarium.

Currently: 30g glass, skilter 250, Ehiem jaeger heater, power head (forget the brand currently), live rock and sand, mixture of snails and hermits, x2 branching hammers, x2 ocelaris clownfish, x2 yellowtail damsels, x3 peppermint shrimp, x1 scarlet cleaner shrimp. I will be picking up a Lamarks angel and a midas blenny this week.

Future plans are a 92g corner.

I look forward to meeting and talking to everyone on the forum and learning as much as I can.

Cali

Hi there Cali,

Nice to have you around...
Well, for a novice aquarist, you're already doing a great job with your saltwater tank...

For sure there's sufficient knowledge on this forum.

Have a great sunday,
Stan

Welcome aboard. Tank is looking great for just a little bit of time on the SW side. I'd have to throw out a caution flag on the Lamarck's Angel though. Really should be in something extremely larger than a 30g. If you're not aware, you can find a lot of ideas for stocking here : http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/aquarium-fish-supplies.cfm?c=15

I love going through the liveaquaria website! I've been doing a lot of research on it even before I had the SW. The Lamarks that I'm getting is very much a baby and my plans are once I move out of my current apartment into my new one to pick up the large corner aquarium that should be ample enough to house it for a long time. I work close with my LFS for work as well as for my personal tank.

Thanks Dalto!

So I'm thinking of doing a sump or refugium set up on this tank so I can get familiar with it on the larger aquarium. Any recommendations?
