I have kept fish in outdoor ponds before....from large ponds to smaller (20 gallon) containers. I had the best success with Tiger Barbs, Paradise Fish, Dwarf Gouramis and Bettas. All of them grew and reproduced quite nicely.
As for keeping goldfish with cichlids....this is NOT a good idea. Cichlids will generally tear goldfish up pretty badly, especially if the cichlids decide to spawn in the pond (which they likely will). Goldfish are utterly defenseless against the onslaught of a cichlid....having neither speed, agility or defensive weapons. Even back in the 'old days' of fishkeeping the goldfish specialists found that a fish like a Paradise Fish would shred the fins of their fancy goldfish...and Paradise Fish aren't as well-armed as the cichlids you have listed.
