Moved my outlets so their not under the tank I relocated them to the wall behind the tank. That's were all the outlets will be located.

Just painted the wall that the new tank is going on. Since the wall need to be painted, I thought it was a perfect time to do it.

I will move the tank to its new location tomorrow and start cleaning the sand to start getting water in this baby.

Since the fish and corals are going to be in the container for at least a month should I connect my skimmer to it?

If youre not adding any thing to the water I dont think a skimmer would be necessary. Shouldnt be much organics in the water

I cleaned my sand today all 120lbs of it. It took just under 2 hrs to do. My wife gave me a hand on my last 2 buckets. Perfect timing on her end.

Here's is some plumbing.

Almost finished the plumbing have go to hd and buy a couple more fittings to finish installing the iwaki 20 for the skimmer.

Finally sand is in and woo hoooo . WATER

Know working on the aquascape looks like going to have to buy more LR.

I used a over sized milk crate, cut out the sides to make it look like a table and built around/on it. Gives more volume of water, a place for fish to hide (actually makes them stay out more because they know it's there), healthier LR with water flow all around. The crate will leach phosphates for a few months, but tolerable for fish & LPS.

Thanx for the advice on the crate thats definitely a idea i will consider. Do you have pics of how your process went to attaching it to the crates. And by the way ur tank looks like something you'll see underwater. Looks real good.

Glad u let her out. LOL

The crate is really heavy duty. It was about 12" tall, 12" deep, and 20" long. The rock holds it in place. It really continues to work out well. Glad I did it this way.

Well got the lights on that consist of 3- 24" actinic bulbs and 1- 24" white actinic
I will be changing a the white actinic to a all blue actinic. 2 250 watt reflux12k.

As you can see the tank is half full.

Im going to need more LR to finish the aquascape .
Is anyone selling some LR.? My LFS is selling their rock @ $6 a lb I believe that a little over price.

6 dollars is about right ,,give or take a little either way..Looks like you have plenty of LR in there now,,just get base rock to fill in the rest

It's worth considering the crate. Saved me from having to buy another 80 lbs of LR.

The rocks are not in place I just had to get them in the tank to clear out the clutter that I had. Not sure how I'm doing the the rocks yet , i have to find some crates.

Just getting ambitious to get stuff in the tank but I have to take it slow.
