So i scrapped the plans of my 20 gallon because I happened to get a 29 gallon tank (yay 1 dollar per gallon sale in petco).
After 1 week setup:

SPECIFICS:
29 gallon tank
Ada aquasoil amazonia powder type
Finnex planted plus 24/7 fixture
DIY Co2 using citric acid+baking soda in an aluminum tank (works pretty good, rated to last 1-2 months before refill; and produces pretty high pressures for micro ceramic diffusers) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQ9nfWXZZ-s&feature=youtu.be
Plants: Hemianthus callitrichoides (dwarf baby tears), Eleocharis Parvula (dwarf hair grass), and Anchor moss (on bonsai tree).
I actually never kept HC good before, most of them always tend to melt away. But this time, I will be injecting Co2 and with good light (max is i think 50-60 par? based on some reviews online), so I am hoping they will do well this time.
Some of the starting plants have melted because of new environment, but I have noticed many new runners so that's a good sign i think.

As for my stocking, there's a single platy in the tank now.
Im thinking to get:
15 Chili Rasboras
15 Celestial Pearl Danios
10 Corydoras Hasbrosus
5 Otocinclus

Are those numbers ok? too much? maybe different fish? should i forget the cpds and go with 20 chili rasboras?
