Lighting for a 20 long

I am going to make a 20long into a reef tank. I have been looking at a kessel 150. Will one have enough coverage for a 30" tank? Looking to grow softies and lps. Mainly acans.

If your just doing lps (acans) and softies you should be fine. I have the 150 on my 20 high (24") and it easily covers the tank. I just wouldn't put anything on the very edges of the tank. But up to about 26-28" you should be ok, just raise the light up a little higher.

If I bump the light up to the bigger kessel could I get most lps and maby a low light sps?

You could do any lps or sps under the 150 just not near the edges. Your tank is super shallow.
