livestock help - fish for a 9 gal reef

I was dosing liquid reef but stopped 3 day ago. But it doesn't have copper in it. I stopped putting the lq reef in cause a few people told me it was pointless for a nano that gets water changes every week

And I know my water is good. My star poly is fully extended

That's a bristle worm. Harmless member of your clean up crew...just don't touch him, those spines are supposed to hurt.

Yep, they shrink up very very much. Nice catch, I'm usually too slow to catch my big ones, they are super quick. lol

Why does every clown I put in this tank die in 2 weeks. It seems like its every time I do my water change. I get the water pre mixed from my lfs and they check parameters before you pay. Two weeks ago I did a wc and within 3 days I lost a clown a skunk shrimp and a snail. I got the big worm out and thought the problem was fixed. NOPE!

Could be, my dottyback is very nasty....not so much now that she is in the 180g though lol.

In the last 4 weeks I've last a shrimp and 2 clowns. I thought maybe its was clown ich stuff but no slim mucous. Plus dotty and my corals are doing great. Dang it Carey im going to have to say it. (Huff) you were right

What are some purple fish that I can keep. Im gonna see it my friend will take dotty. She has a peninsula 400g I think dotty would be happier with her

Glad she has a potential good home. They really need alot of territory to claim to be not so nasty. lol

Now, for a purple fish.....How about a firefish? they have purple ones and they pretty much stay in the water column all day rather than hide like a royal gramma would.

I'm pretty sure I've previously voiced my opinion on clowns in a 9g, but if you are going to do it anyways a firefish would get along famously with a clown.

Yeah I'd def say tank size is an issue. Added a royal gramma to my 125 and he's been a model citizen since day 1

Found this little guy last night. Sorry all I could do was get a pic of his foot. Do you think it could be a baby turbo? Thats the only kind of snail I have in the tank. However I added 3 frags last weekend

Yeah they will go after snails and other hermits but don't bother corals
