Hello everyone, it's been a while since I've posted on here but I'm looking for suggestions on stocking a 125g tank. I have 1 red zebra mbuna who's about 6 in. I've had him since he was an inch and he was in a 26g bowfront with a few other mbuna that he killed or were rehomed. Now if I were to stock mbuna, how many could I stock in a tank that size? I was thinking 30 or so since over stocking isn't the worst thing with mbuna to spread the aggression. I plan on having filtration to handle a 200g tank. I would assume since my mbuna is a proven killer that I should add the new fish first and then my red zebra last so that the other fish have established territory. Does this seem like a feasible stocking and would the order of stocking go as I said?
