Maracyn 2

I'm on day 3 of maracyn 2 treatment for my bettas fin rot.
I've noticed a tint in the water which I've put down to te fact the powder when dissolved is yellow!
However today I've noticed white fuzz everywhere - is this normal?? Does anyone have experience with this?

Is it tetracycline? Yeah, that is normal it won't stain the tank. It will go back to normal with water changes and carbon.

Just a quick question and I hope someone out there can help. It's the last day of treatment tomorrow, day 5.
Does anyone know how long I will need to wait before I can do a water change and clean to try and remove the abundance of fur the tank has gotten?

I would do it right away to be honest. Clean water seems like it should always be good for a sick fish.

Yes I agree but surely the antibiotics need time to work?
Plus my betta appears healthy apart from the fin rot which seems to have halted with the maracyn
