I have read up on Marine Betta and asked a few LFS's but want the skinny from someone who may have experience with this beautiful fish. I understand it's requirements as far as food and environment. My question is mostly with the tank mates it would have.

In a 60 X 24 tank, I will house the Betta with 2 clownfish, a couple of Orange Firefish (these are on the ones I'm not sure about), 2 tangs - blue and Naso and 2 cleaner and 2 fire shrimp.

Will the Betta, once it grows make a nice meal out of the shrimp, and/or firefish? Will this tank be too aggressive/fast moving for it?

I want ALL the fish in my slice of ocean to be happy. :)

Thanks!

They tend to be shy fish in general even though they eventually become more extroverted in time. Expect your shrimp to disappear, but I doubt the firefish. Bettas tend to have small mouths so they prefer much smaller prey, from what I have personally seen and read from others.
