My 28 gallon is breaking out in algae again! this time its mostly macro algae..some hair. The only thing i have added was a small clown goby and some new zoas. I do water changes every other week but had done two in one week prior to adding the zoas (breakout began after addition). I am feeding every other day and sometimes every third day. The tank has a diamond sandsifter goby, a tribal blenny, a black clown goby, a target mandarin, and a yellow watchman goby. The sand has also become clumpy..the sandsifter is still sifting it but that doesn't help much.

My question is how much can i cut back on lighting? I have a brain, monti coral, candy coral, birdsnest, and hammer coral that im worried about. The lighting is 150watt MH. Is six hours a day too little??

(and yes i have increased my water changes to try to get the algae down as well)
