Mismatch friends

Hey I have just purchased a red flame gourami and I put him in my tank and my guppy and him have become best friends

That got me thinking do any of you have any mismatch friendships in their tanks

When I had my kribs, the days old fry would free swim with the kuhli loaches. Still can't figure that one out.
