My molly has several white spots on her tail and dorsal fin. So I began treating for ICK, but now I wonder whether I jump the gun and started treatment too quickly.
The fish is black so white spots stand out quite well. Some of them also have depth (raised like a pimple). The other fish appear fine, though none of them are black.
Separate topic:
Also read here that some people vacuum their gravel? How do you do that? I have only one plant now, but can one vacuum the gravel if there are lots of plant?
Tank parameters:
10gal tank, 5 fish (2 neon tetras, Gold skirt tetra, plecostomus, molly), tank has been set up for about 1 month. PWC daily due to the use of rid-Ick. Filter temporarily removed (again due to ick), never vacuumed.
