I have one Male Molly that tries to mate with EVERYTHING in my 55 gallon so I want to buy some females for him for a bit of company however I dont want any babies.
Q. If i buy two or three females is it likely that they will eat all the Fry ? Also would the same work for a Swordtail in principle and reality ??

You WILL end up with fry should you add females.

Yes, a lot of them won't be around for long but some will find a place to live and grow.
