Mormyrus longirostris, aka the Dolphin Mormyrid tankmates

Hello has anyone ever kept this fish, if so I was wondering if it can be kept with lake Malawi cichlids.

Dolphin mormyrid get up to 2-3 feet long, prefer sand, and should do fine with cichlids given the right amount of space for its territory.

They aren't really a fish for anything other than a species only tank. They get large, aggressive/territorial and the electric fields they generate can drive other fish to attempt to evacuate the tank.

Oh, ok i guess it's not the right fish for my cichlid tank. I have been looking for fish that will get along with my lake Malawi cichlids for quite some time. So far this I what I got:
One Spot Domino Syno Catfish x1
Ropefish x1
Hi Fin Spotted Pleco x1
Australian Rainbowfish x3
