I would use that for exactly the way you desribed it a TOY, the site does have some terrible flaws when choosing tankmates so take their recommendations with a grain of salt.

of course i do. and no matter how much you research, sometimes the fish just have a mind of their own! No matter what site I use I always cross check the results. When it comes to living things, it's not worth it to not double check.

Don't get them started. Around here it's regarded very poorly. I used it and I think it helped me stock my tank well. However, apparently I'm in the minority. YMMV.

Agreed, I certainly used it as an idea jumping off point, but quickly asked for clarification and ideas here from everyone that has so much great knowledge and experience.

You should always double check anything you come across. We are humans and make mistakes. Even the most reliable places have been known to post a misinterpreted thing or two.
