I'm jealous I'm working basically 7 am to 9 pm today so no new fish for me today :(

It's amazing how a feeding frenzy make everything come out of hiding. Got some shots of the Midas blenny...

Also- my engineers are competing to see who can kick up the most dirt to make new caves. Lol.

So my neighbor wanted to get rid of his leopard wrasse and guess who's husband bought it? Mine :(. So now I'm acclimating a female that's about 3.5 inches

Why so sad?

Cause he's always buying stuff without asking compatability. Thankfully this time it's ok- but hasn't always been the case.

He buys fish like he buys cars "ohhhh that's pretty. I want it!" and 5 months later regrets it cause it doesn't have all he wanted. Lol

Awesome, the Midas looks fantastic!

Picked up a bigger skimmer and a carbon reactor for a total of 80$. Not too bad. Just gotta clean em out.

Leopard wrasse is looking great. Will get pics in a few after the lights turn on

HOW do you get such great deals?

Is the wrasse eating?

Lol. I watch Craigslist like a hawk!!! I'm on it more than I'm on here if that's possible.

Yes. The wrasse is eating well!

That fish is beautiful. I wanted one...well want one now. I heard more horror stories than I wanted to hear about them eating. I think I will try one now.

Did you get it from lfs or online?

I got it from my neighbors tank. A lot of people don't realize they eat copepods and meaty foods. IMO that's why they are labeled as expert on LA

Didn't know about copepods. They are like mandarins in a sense. Thanks for the tip.

Stunning Wrasse, and nice deal! (y)

Added a lawn mower blenny today because the brown algae that was on the new rock has started to spread a little. Unfortunately by the time I got home from class lights were already out so no pics tonight :(

I consider you the resident tang guru. Can a 4in powder brown and 2in chevron live in a 150g 6 feet long?

Lol. Don't know how I got that title!

The powder brown would be fine in a 150 gal with a chevron tang. Just be careful that you don't add many more larger fish. The only issue you may run into would be turn around space for the chevron. The main reason he is listed for a 180 gallon is due to not just the 6 ft length, but also for the extra turnaround space. You may get away with it of you make sure there is space to turn around behind your rocks. In other words, make sure your rocks don't sit on the back glass of your tank- make an island of your rocks in the center of your tank.
These two tangs are from different families and have different shapes and colors so you should be fine inquiry compatability. I would still add them at the same time though.
Also, i have been told by many different people in the hobby that the powder brown is more prone to ick than other tangs (also the powder blue and white cheek). A better recommendation than the chevron would be a kole tang or the bristle tooth.
