My Pleco (Tuck) has really stringy feces

I think he is constipated, or however you spell it. He has very stringy feces, what can I do for him?

what are you feeding him? do you have any driftwood in the tank for him? what kind of pleco? what size tank? what are the water parameters? try fasting for a few days.

I have no driftwood as of yet, but looking. Tank is 55G, not sure on the type of pleco. I have been feeding him algae wafers.

Try to get a hardwood like Malaysian driftwood, Mopani, etc. Soft woods will float. And yes, wood is a part of Pleco digestion/diet.
