I have four clutches currently cooking up in my tank. The first one seems to have dried out and i guess the babies died. I saw some snails on the outside but they just dried out??? I'm wondering if they couldn't get to the water?
Anyway, I have three more to save. I was wondering how to keep the tank moist enough. Its a cheapo plastic tank. I don't have a heater, but the temp is usually 70 degrees F. I've resorted to duct taping the lid, but I have endlers in there that need to eat! The lighting is LED, but I've moved a hotter light over the tank to help.
Is it ok to drip water on the clutches? I'm worried about killing them.
Any ideas?
