I have just noticed some smallish 1/16th to 1/8th inch small off white disc's attached (and growing I think) to my LR in my reef tank. They showed up about a week ago. They are grouped together but not touching. What the h**l are they?

Probably Nerite eggs?

Have any on the glass?

I have several gazillion of these.

No problem as far as I am concerned. Free nerite snails are a plus.

There's lots of little free swimmers that will hatch out and swim around from the eggs within the capsules you see, I have noticed that when they hatch, the front of the capsule opens like a hatch door.

There's going to be about 30 eggs per capsule, if indeed these are nerite eggs.

Here is a link with pics so you can see if yours match up!

Hope this helps
