Neon tetras

Do they swim through out the tank or do they pick a side and just chill there. My neons just kind of stay on one side of my 29 gallons.

Well it depends really, if there are bigger fish in the tank they will head anywhere as a group, but if it's just them then they don't tend to group as much and just stay in one place lol.

My neons do the same, just hide by my driftwood. 1just hides all day till feeding time lol.

How many of the tetras are there and what other fish are in there?

Usually neons just hang if there's no predators or threats on the move. IME they just diffuse throughout the tank, just simply wandering until something made them school back together.

how many r there? they feel safer in groups of 6 or more, and less stressed, and they are schoolers, so there has to be 6+.........
