Okay. If it is warranted. Bear in mind, after your ammonia stops spiking, your nitrites will. Prime will still help in this part of the cycle as will water changes. I have found the nitrite spiking stage to be the longer of the two....hate to be the bearer of bad news. Just be prepared to change the water a lot.
