New cichlids in 36 gallon tank.

I just got some pretty sweet cichlids to replace the others i had to give away because they outgrew the tank. I got:
1x compressiceps
1x ob peacock
1x yellow lab
1x moori dolphin

Im a little concerned about the yellow lab. He is hiding behind the license plate. The other 3 are out, swimming and eating. I did only get them yesterday so maybe he is still a little stressed. Any advice? You might have to take a hard look to see him.

Are those fake plants? Also I like your gravel a lot, where did you get it at?

No those are all real plants. I got the gravel with the tank when i bought in on CL.
