New fish help!

I am acclimating some angels I got in the mail, and their ph is @ 6.6. My tank is 8. I only have 30 minutes. What should I do?

Acclimate the angels slowly and do not mess with your tank ph. While angels like a lower ph they can easily acclimate to most ph. It's most important to have a steady ph than to try lowering it. They will acclimate.

I will have to leave for about two hours. Should I wait or go ahead & put them in the tank. I have been adding a little water every 10-15 minutes. Thanks btw.

How long have you been acclimating them? You can't go away for two hours without them being put in the tank.

Probably 30-45 minutes. I am about to retest ph & then I guess I will go a head and put them in.
