Just starting a tank I got for xmas from my adult kids. 36 gall. Had previous tanks quite awhile ago but we move around alot so I had to give them up about 7 yrs ago to our niece. The Raphael and Pleco are still alive and doing well with her after all this time. I now am starting out w a 36 gal . 5 barbs, bristle nose pleco, Raphael, blue ghourami and red ghourami and a rainbow shark. I wanted an all semi aggressive tank but didnt realize how bothersome the tiger barbs are. They school with the green barbs but aggravate the ghouramis. The shark chases the barbs but nothing else. I am looking forward to being a member here and getting much needed advice.
