New/new first post first tank 5gal

Hi-Cleaning basement we found an old 5gal tank. Cleaned it bought some stones, a heater, pump and thermometer. I've filled it and added de-chlor. It has been running about 2 1/2 weeks. Water test kit should arrive today, meantime; water is cloudy any ideas/help?

just rinsed it out real good with water

When you test it post the findings and we can see if some levels are off causing the cloudiness.
