Yesterday I added two bundles of telanthera cardinalis and two clown loach. Woke up to a cloudy tank. Any ideas. I rinsed the plants really well before I put them in. Oh it's a 40 gal tank with multiple plants and a wide array of fish.

How long has the tank been running for?
what's your maintenance schedule?
Hows your water test?
Did you cycle the tank or currently ?

Vacuum monthly filter every 2-3 weeks. Was crystal clear before hand. Added about a gallon of water yesterday also. But nothing out of the ordinary. I'm very confused. Also no the city hasn't changed anything in the water I called and asked.

Oh filter Is penguin bio wheel 200. Have ha great success with it.

Shoot forgot tank has been running for over a year.

Can you do a test and see how the water quality is? I'm thinking your nitrates are probably a little high. You should do weekly water changes of at least 25%

Just as fast as it got cloudy it cleared up. Very weird.
