This is my new snowflake eel. (S)he is about 2 ft long, and about 3-4 inches thick. Definitely the showpiece in my tank now, as all my other "large" fish are still very small. I need a name for him/her!!! The other larger fish I have (when they're grown up a little) are a Huma Huma Trigger, Blue Hippo Tang, and a Coral Beauty Angel.

I've just been calling it Bertha, but want to see what you guys have in mind =)

I have a small snowflake myself, only about a foot long, his name is Basilisk. I agree with the name Nessie being a good choice though or Champ if you prefer Nessie's American cousin.

Nessie is good.
Trixie (cuz they're tricky fish)
Buffy the fish slayer (lol)
Tuna (just think that's funny-it's very late, so
give a girl a break:)
Jadis ( name of the snow queen in Narnia book-
she's a snowflake eel, right?
It's late- that's all I got. :)

Andromena. Just because the scientific name is echidna nebulosa and nebulosa reminds me of nebula, which remind me of our galaxy's neighbour... The andromena galaxy. Plus andromena is cool and fun to say.

Cool name. Good choice. I totally have a handful of critters named after latin things. But, I do also own an eel named Sir Squishy. Lol.
