New tank

Picked up a 20L at the dollar/gal sale yesterday. Debating going back and grabbing that 40 breeder too. I love the footprint on that one.
I will start piecing things together and start building the 20 shortly.
No plant eaters in this one....lol

I have till the end of the month so I may get them to order me one.
I like the size of it for a planted tank. ?
Gonna try to pick up some things for the 20L this week maybe if I can find some sales.
What size AC filter would everyone recommend for the 20L? I was thinking the 50 but is that too much filtering or is there such a thing?
Gonna put GBR in there so the temp needs to be adjustable to get up to 80+.
Suggestions for a new heater too...

50 sounds perfect to me.

I forget the brand I have but it works pretty well. I think it's Aqueon; I'll check later.

Plants and maybe something that swims....lol
I have no idea as far as fish.
I will keep my eyes open for the 40.
The 20L is getting a pair of GBR and a shoal of Cardinal tetras.

I recommend the Cobalt Neotherm heater. It's digital and quite accurate. I have a Fluval 206 canister on 2 of my 20 longs and an AC 70 on another 20 long. I like a lot of filtration and the AC 70 I just had on hand

Ooh how about Multies in the 40?

And my heater is an Aqueon. Never had a problem with it but I've never really needed it tbh. My house is really hot so it's only on in the winter.

Neolamprologus Multifasciatus. I have them in my 20. They're really cool so far and you could do a huge colony in a 40.

You could have cypichromis in with them I believe.
