New to Plants

Okay, i've been thinking and i'm finally ready to make the attempt, I want to make my 55 gallon planted, i've got 60w so that would put me at low light right?
I've got sand substrate, but the sticky said that with lowlight plants that was fine.
So to the question- What are some plant options for my tank, and do i need fertilizer tabs or something anyway?

you should also check out JChillin's posts - he has a low light tank but you'd never know it by looking at them !

You're basic options are going to include Anubias, Java Fern, Java Moss, and most Crypts. The link that joannde provided will give you an idea of the specific varieties that are available to choose from.
