new wtank no tubes

just got an old tank from a m8 with room for 2 tubes meaning i can have 2 watts per gallon and do a low light job was wondering what tubes to put in that would be best for the plants dont want a horible tint let off though like flor-glo was thinking 2x power-glo but i duno wat im on about plz help

Something between 6700 and 10000k with 6700 looking more yellow and the 10000k looking more blue. Depends what you like.

To add to Rich's advice, there is no need to buy the specialty aquarium bulbs from the LFS, you can get just as good of bulbs from your local hardware store at lot less expensively.
