Noise in tank

I just received my reef octopus bh1000 protein skimmer and it seems to be running great. (I would recommend this product) The skimmer is pretty quite besides a little humming noise. I can hardly hear the noise but when i put my ear to the tank i can hear it quite well. Its not crazy loud but I was wondering if it would be a stressful annoyance to the fish. Any input would help. Thanks!

I don't think it would be stressful. Think about it, you have company over, parties, tv is on, stereo etc etc etc. I think they'll be fine.

Thanks for the reply. Sometimes I might over worry but hearing peoples opinions puts my mind to rest.
