The aquac remora is getting pretty noisy in the intake area, inside, and making tons of microbubbles in my tank. It is skimming like crazy though. Is this noise normal? I definetly can't reach that intake area anyhow... Thanks!

Reduce the amount of flow to the skimmer -- airbubbles mean you're out of proper adjustment. You should still be getting decent flow, but without the microbubbles.

Skimmers are noisy.. most people I know who can't handle the noise have them setup to opposite timers to the lights so they skim only at night.

It's still a relatively new skimmer. I never thought my Remora was excessively loud, but FWIW it did quiet down some w/ time. Reducing the amount of flow w/ a Remora really isn't an option. It's designed to perform "as is"-and works quite well that way. Did you try cleaning the injector w/ the included brush? HTH
